YES to YOUTH - Montgomery County Youth Services strengthens the emotional and mental health development of youth and families
by providing crisis intervention, counseling, and suicide prevention services. We provide a safe and nurturing home
where abused, battered, sex-trafficked, homeless,and at-risk youth begin healing from the past and become empowered for the future.
Counseling Internship Opportunities
YES to YOUTH offers internship opportunities for students completing their Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other Counseling degrees.
Requirements to intern with YES to YOUTH include:

A minimum of 2-semester commitment internship is preferred

Previous experience working with children is required- can be volunteer experience

Must be open to working in any office within Montgomery County or the Bridgeway Emergency Youth Shelter in Conroe.

Must commit to at least 2 weekdays, 3 days a week are preferred for internship

A letter of recommendation from a recent employer or graduate program professor.
YES to YOUTH accepts interns throughout the year and depends on availability.
